I know a CEO and founder of a great start-up who recently shared with me about his sleepless night (in fact he was texting me during his sleepless night) . There are crucible moments for all of us but none so great as for the CEO’s.
When people are not executing it causes stress, anxiety, doubt, frustration, and yes sleepless nights. Sometimes the CEO feels like apologizing for reaching these moments of stress and reflection – I say to them – never apologize for dealing with the future with intensity and obsessed behaviour.
When executive teams really come to understand the CEO’s vision and find the tools to begin mirroring that vision into reality, the organization starts a new chapter. A chapter for truly embarking inside its path to altering the game.
And that’s worth staying up for!
